Recent Technology advances allow Polypropylene Absorbents such as pads, booms, socks, and pillows to be reconditioned and reused. We have two programs for the reconditioning of reusable polypropylene absorbents: Reconditioning and Return: Customer’s reusable polypropylene absorbents are cleaned and returned to the originator.

Oil Mats

Hydrophobic needle punched untreated polypropylene and fine fibers for strength and durability. Recommended Use: To quickly absorb oily spills and overspray. Absorbency: One mat can absorb over 30oz of oil only.

Recycling: Dry-cleaning recommended. Dry cleaned mats could last up to 15 washings, depending on usage. Available size(s): 15″x19″

Oil Soaker

Cotton/Synthetic blend yarn with a durable cotton duck backing for quick drying and absorbency. Recommended Use: Absorption of hydraulic fluids, coolants, water, condensation, oils and solvents.

Absorbency: Absorbency varies. Recommended use for larger spills and leaks. Recycling: Dry-cleaning recommended. Dry-cleaned socks could last up to 20 washings, depending on usage.

Oil Socks

Mixed cotton and polypropylene with a 100% polyester knit casing for quick absorbency. Recommended Use: Absorbtion of hazardous liquids such as oils, fuels, coolants, solvents, grease and water. Recommended for direct contact with leaks and spills. Unique flexibility for placing around machines or containing small spills.

Absorbency: One sock absorbs approximately 3 quarts of liquids.

Needle punched polypropylene pads are gray in color to help conceal stains, oil and footprints. Recommended Use: Absorption of hazardous liquids such as oils, fuels, coolants, solvents, grease and water. Recommended for slow leaks and small spills. Absorbency: Absorbency rates vary depending on the application, size and the weight of the pad.
